1973 Citroen SM生産当時シトロエンと提携関係にあったマセラティ製のV型6気筒DOHCエンジンを搭載し、量産高性能クーペではなく、「前輪駆動で200㎞/hを超える」車を目指した実験車徒しての要素が強く、当時世界最速のFF車としてフランス警察にも採用されました。
性能はもちろんですが、その外装のデザインは色々な図形が曲線で組み合わさった、彫刻のようなデザインが纏う、ブルー・ド・ブレガコンは73年式だけに設定された大変希少なボディーカラーになります。
当個体は、数年前に内外装のフルレストレーションを受けているため、新車のように輝くボディー、内装のメタルパーツは、上質な輝きを放っています。
